Configuring a Citrix ICA Connection for OMS NAVIGATOR Software

 

  1. Download the Citrix ICA Client, HP LaserJet 4 and Seiko Label Printer Driver.
    1. Install the Citric ICA Client and HP LaserJet 4 driver on all computers.
    2. Set the HP LaserJet driver should be set as the default printer.
  2. Install the Seiko Label Printer driver (if you have a Seiko printer). *Do not install the CD-ROM that comes with your Seiko Printer.
  3. Go to the Start Menu
    1. Select "Settings"
    2. Select "Control Panel"
    3. Select "Display"
    4. Set your screen resolution to 1024 x 768
  4. Install the Citrix ICA Client
  5. Reboot your computer
  6. Start the Citrix ICA Client:
    1. Go to the Start Menu
    2. Select "Programs"
    3. Select "Citrix ICA Client"
    4. Select "Citrix Program Neighborhood"
  7. Double-click on "Add ICA Connection"
    1. Select "Wide Area Network"
    2. Click "Next"
  8. Contact 1.800.345.3630 to obtain a server IP address from KODAK Dental Systems Group.
  9. Once you have secured the IP address, enter it into the 3rd box under "Server."
  10. Select encryption level to 128 bit (do not pick "128 bit for login in only")
  11. Set the following application defaults:
    1. Windows Colors: 16 Colors
    2. Window Size: Custom
    3. Width: 1020
    4. Height: 760
  12. Click "Next"
  13. Click "Next"
  14. Click "Finish"
  15. Right-click on the OMS NAVIGATOR icon.
  16. Left-click on "Properties"
  17. Click on the "Options" tab
  18. Make sure the following settings are in place:
