Practices that wish to have restorations designed or milled by a lab can send the data in an STL file format to the lab via CS Connect portal.
CS Connect* is a hosted and Web-based platform created to share and manage restoration cases between dentists and laboratories. Using CS Connect, dentists can electronically transmit cases – either the digital impression data or the restoration design – to the laboratory of their choice. The laboratory will then design (if needed), mill and ship the restoration back to the dentist. CS Connect avoids the need to send physical materials to the lab, such as impressions and bite, and simplifies case management for both dental offices and laboratories.
