Chief Financial Officer

Dave Houghton is the chief financial officer of Carestream Dental. In this role, he leads the company’s worldwide finance organization and is a member of the company’s senior executive leadership team. Houghton has been with the company since 2022, first serving as global controller. He is based in Victor, New York.

Houghton brings to Carestream Dental more than 23 years of corporate business and finance expertise. Before joining Carestream Dental, he was senior director of corporate accounting for Constellation Brands, Inc, where he led a multi-functional team on mergers and acquisition due diligence for several targets and supported the closing of several acquisitions and minority investments. Prior to that, Houghton had early exposure to Carestream Dental when he worked for Carestream Health, the former parent company of Carestream Dental. He started in 2010 as assistant controller and rose to chief financial officer of the company’s film business. Houghton has held additional leadership roles in financial reporting for Sensis Corporate, Penn Traffic and KPMG LLP.

Houghton holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Business Administration from State University College at Oswego. He recently completed a six-month Harvard executive leadership program and is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of New York. He has given back to his community by founding the Rochester Girls Lacrosse Alliance, which organizes girls’ youth lacrosse leagues for the greater Rochester area. He currently serves as the organization’s president.
