The CS 3600 intraoral scanner is known for its smart scanning technology, but the latest upgrades to its acquisition software have taken the CS 3600 from smart to genius. In fact, intelligent scanning features are the most significant updates to the CS 3600’s acquisition software.

That’s why Carestream Dental has donated RVG intraoral sensor technology to Mercy Ships for use onboard the Africa Mercy during its next field service to the West African nation of Cameroon.

Carestream Dental is pleased to announce that scans captured by the CS 3600 intraoral scanner are compatible for use with Nutislab®. Nutislab is a digital orthodontic service that lets orthodontists take full advantage of the CS 3600’s .STL files to prepare, design and fabricate orthodontic prostheses.

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice and CareCapital Advisors Limited (part of Hillhouse Capital Management), completed the previously announced acquisition of Carestream Dental, the dental digital business of Carestream Health, on Sept. 1, 2017. The carve-out transaction establishes Carestream Dental as an independent global company, wholly owned by CD&R and Hillhouse/CareCapital funds.
