Labs exchange/CS Connect capabilities remain unchanged.
(1) From CS Imaging version 8 Gallery
- Selects one or multiple datasets 3D Scans (STL, PLY, OBJ)
- Right-click "Click and Share" or select "Click and share" icon
- Login to the Click and Share module with Carestream Dental account
(2) From Click & Share module
- In case of backup issues, an error message is made visible to end users so they can reach out to their technical support to get it fixed in a timely manner.
- Clinician can invite new Labs via CS Connect: https://csdentalconnect.comOpens in new window
- Clinician "Send" the 3D scans to the Lab
- Clinician is directed to CS Connect portal to finalize the exchange

New! Smop service partners and other selected partners will be onboarded to Click & Share from January 2024 and moving forward
(1) From CS Imaging version 8 Gallery
- Selects a CBCT scan and/or intraoral scan along with other treatment relevant data
- Right-click "Click and Share" or select "Click and share" icon
- Login to the Click and Share module with Carestream Dental account
(2) From Click & Share module
- Select the Service Center of your choice
- Discover the services delivered by the service center
- Order services from the service center
- The first time, follow the registration process

About Security & Software update
- CS Imaging must be updated on a regular basis to prevent security flaws, ensure compatibility with latest technology and to benefit from new capabilities.
- This version 8.0.25 or higher is mandatory for AI Insights (Europe Only) and Easy Digital Denture Solution (US Only) prior to February 15, 2024.
- Monitor application on the CS Imaging Server computer hasbeen updated to display the version installed and, in the future, will notifiy new version availability.
