Gender "other" in the patient card The patient card is applicable only when CS Imaging is used to manage patients, meaning when CS Imaging is NOT launched by a dental practice management system (DPMS)
The gender “other” has been added the patient card in addition to “female” or “male.” This was added to allow for interoperability with DICOM / PACS workflow.

CS Imaging Database backup failure message A CS Imaging database backup is key for recovery in case of an outage.
In case of backup issues, an error message is made visible to end users so they can reach out to their technical support to get it fixed in a timely manner.
The error message doesn't prevent the use of CS Imaging version 8.

Europe only: AI Insights 28-day trial and legal document signature
- You can ask your dealer to enable a 28-day trial period
- Once enabled, click on the "AI Insights" button
- Upon first use, you are directed to a legal document portal
- Login with or create a Carestream Dental account
- Review and accept Terms & Conditions
- Next time you click on the "AI Insights" button, all users in the practice can use the service
- After the 28-day trial period, purchase to keep enjoying

Software update notification CS Imaging must be updated regularly to prevent security flaws, ensure compatibility with the latest technology and benefit from new capabilities. This Suite version includes notification capabilities related to future software updates:
- (1) A notice will be displayed on all stations when future software updates will be available.
- (2) On CS Imaging Server station, an "update" button will be highlighted to proceed with server update during closing hours.
- (3) When a CS Imaging Server has been updated: Open the software on each workstation computer and click Update now to complete the client installation.
Workstations can be updated simultaneously
