What's New in CS Imaging 8

CS Imaging 8.0.29 included in CS Imaging Suite 3.14.0.31 released March 10, 2025
1	US & Canada Only - CS 6200 size 0 sensor This version of CS Imaging will support the CS 6200 size 0 sensor; specially designed for pediatric exams and small oral cavities. Introduction of a size 0 solution for those capturing intraoral radiographs during pediatric exams or for patients with small mouths. Size 0 joins our existing portfolio of size 1 and 2 sensors.
2	US & Canada Only: Pearl's Second Opinion^® integration This version of CS Imaging will natively integrate Pearl's Second Opinion software into CS Imaging. AI processing that will assist in the detection of common pathologies and other conditions in dental X-rays will be available for newly acquired images from Carestream Dental sensors, RVG 5100/6100 and RVG 5200/6200. The solution must be purchased from Pearl's commercial agents.
3	USA: Easy Digital Denture Solution (EDDS) The denture module enables to scan dentures with an existing Carestream Dental CBCT system. The scanned dentures are made available in STL format compatible for subsequent CAD/CAM work. The dentures are scanned once and will be split automatically into 2 or 3 STL files for review, saving time for the user. The algorithms have been improved to refine the split for a wider range of denture material.
