What's New in CS Imaging 8

CS Imaging 8.0.35 included in CS Imaging Suite 3.26.1 released May 2026
1	Notice Window highlight relevant Carestream Dental updates, services and partner offerings Opens upon launch of CS Imaging when a new notice is posted. Tick “don’t show again until next notice” to have the notice open only when there’s something new Available in seven languages—French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Portuguese and English—and follows the CS Imaging language setting. If the selected language is not supported, English is used.
2	New Title Bar Icons: What’s New and Update Notification Click on to open the Update notification, The red dot indicates an update notification Click onto open the notice window which will include the latest What’s New
3	System information collection Please provide consent to accept system information collection such as OS and software versions and configuration parameters. By allowing Carestream Dental to collect non‑patient system information, you enable: Faster technical support More accurate system diagnostics Continuous product improvements Consent can be given / removed at any time from the CS Imaging Configuration page. Your trust matters, you remain fully in control.
4	CS 1300 Camera Improvements The frame rate is accelerated in the acquisition window so that the video stream is more fluid.
5	Dose Structured Report (SR) On the CS Imaging server / Monitor / CSI Server / Configure, enable “Accept Dose Report” in the Storage Service Class to allow Dose SR reception. On the CS Imaging Client / Burger Menu (top right) / Preferences / Imaging Tab, tick the box (see screenshot) to get the Dose Report in the imaging gallery Once configured, Dose SR appears in the CS Imaging 8 gallery and can be exported via multiple methods, including DICOM Transfer.
