Event Recap: 2014 Dental Summit

It was a weekend full of adventure and exploration at the 2014 Dental Summit held Nov. 7-9 in Atlanta, Ga. Doctors and team members from around the U.S. climbed to new heights through uplifting presentations, including two keynote speakers, and inspiring networking opportunities.

Throughout the weekend, attendees had the opportunity to listen to nine different experts who spoke on a variety of topics from implant dentistry to social media marketing. Some of the most popular classes over the weekend were:

• "Keys to Social Media Marketing Success" with Rita Zamora

• "The Dental Concierge" with Shannon Pace-Brinker, CDA, CDD

• "CS SoftDent: Explore What’s New & Time Savers"

• "Extraordinary Service—A Dental Necessity" with Rosemary Bray

• "Complying with the HIPAA, Omnibus Rule: You Can Be Successful!" with Karen Gregory, RN

New to this year’s Dental Summit, attendees had the option to network after-hours in the trendy area of Midtown Atlanta on Friday evening. Guests were able to enjoy some delicious food at the many fabulous area restaurants and take in the sights of downtown Atlanta. Transportation to Midtown was graciously provided by EverBank.

Saturday evening, guests danced the night away to the live band at the reception and enjoyed a final night of networking with fellow dental professionals.
