Event Recap: 2015 OMS Summit

It was a weekend full of adventure and exploration at the 2015 OMS Summit, held Jan. 24-25 in Atlanta, Ga. Doctors and team members from around the U.S. climbed to new heights through uplifting presentations and inspiring networking opportunities.

Throughout the weekend, attendees had the opportunity to listen to eleven different experts who spoke on a variety of topics from implant reconstruction to oral surgery marketing. Some of the most popular sessions over the weekend were:

  • Solving the EMR Puzzle Interactive Workshop

  • Enhancing Your Workflow with EMR with Sarah Leath

  • Immediate Implant Reconstruction: 2015 with Michael A. Pikos DDS

  • Ta-Dah! Bridging the Gap with Judy Kay Mausolf

  • Swindles, Cheats & Scams in the OMS Office with David Harris

  • The Surgical Uses of the CS 3500 and How it Can Increase Your Referral Network with Bart W. Silverman DMD, PALS

New to this year’s OMS Summit, attendees had the option to attend the Implant Treatment Coordinator (ITC) track. This selection of educational sessions covered topics such as the importance of an ITC in a practice; choosing the right candidate; and effective treatment plan presentation. The track was presented by Gold Level sponsor OMS3.

Saturday evening, guests danced the night away to live band, Full Tilt, at the reception and enjoyed a final night of networking with fellow oral surgery professionals.
