New Integration with CareCredit Helps Give Patients More Access to Oral Health Care

Carestream Dental is pleased to announce that CS SoftDent v16.2 offers integration with CareCredit, a health care credit card with a revolving line of credit that patients can use for future treatment.

“This new integration refines the CareCredit approval, payment and refund process, improving the overall CS SoftDent user experience,” Jeffrey Urkevich, senior product line manager, CS SoftDent, said.

Users can now enter CareCredit payments or refund transactions to a CareCredit account in the same way they would for any other credit card. The Daysheet has been improved to include a separate page for CareCredit transactions, and the deposit slip also has a separate CareCredit page. Additionally, CS Softdent v16.2 now features customized versions of the Transaction for a Period and the Treatment Plan Detailed Report.

The CareCredit card helps give patients better access to crucial oral health care by giving patients a way to make monthly payments and it may also may help increase patient loyalty to the doctor and practice.

CareCredit has focused solely on healthcare for almost 30 years. It is now accepted in over 186,000 offices and there are over 9 million cardholders.
