CS 3600 Earns Excellent Marks from Clinicians Report Evaluators

The CS 3600 intraoral scanner was recently evaluated by Clinicians Report and found to be Excellent or Good-Excellent in all four categories tested. Clinicians Report evaluates new dental products to help doctors make smart purchasing decisions.

Four new scanners, including the CS 3600, were evaluated for intraoral access, rapid acquisition, margin detail capture and ease of use. The CS 3600 was rated “Excellent” in the category of rapid acquisition. In fact, it was deemed one of the fastest scanners evaluated, with faster scanning and fewer pauses during image acquisition. It also featured one of the most ergonomic hand pieces for better intraoral access. In the remaining categories of margin detail capture and ease of use, the CS 3600 was rated Excellent and Good-Excellent, respectively.

This is not the first time the CS 3600 has been acknowledged by doctors for its innovation. It was also recognized as a 2016 Top 100 Product by readers of Dentistry Today. Technology receiving this honor is selected based on reader response and interest throughout the year.

Since its launch in the spring of 2016, the new scanner has been earning recognition for its speed and accuracy. Scans captured by the CS 3600 are validated for use with all of ClearCorrect’s products and American Orthodontic’s Harmony digitally customized self ligating lingual bracket system. Scans captured by CS 3600 are also accepted by American Board of Orthodontics.
