PRESS RELEASE: Carestream Dental’s CS 3600 Validated for Use with the 3M™ Incognito™ Appliance System

Data sets captured by the CS 3600 intraoral scanner have been validated by 3M and are approved for use with the 3M™ Incognito™ Appliance System.

The Incognito System offers fully customized lingual brackets, archwires and bonding trays. Like all orthodontic appliances, the Incognito System requires highly accurate models to ensure that the patient’s exact prescription is met to ensure patient comfort and successful treatment.

The CS 3600 creates precise, detailed HD 3D digital impressions that are highly accurate, while offering an easier acquisition method than using traditional PVS impressions. The scanner’s high speed continuous scanning makes capturing dual arches faster and easier. Plus, ergonomically-designed, rounded autoclavable and reusable tips lead to a more comfortable and hygienic scanning experience for patients. Once the impressions are acquired, CS Model software can then be used to create digital models in stunning HD 3D.
