Top Takeaways from the 2019 Summit

Carestream Dental took the stage in Nashville for the 2019 Global Oral Health Summit, Nov. 7-9, where more than 100 doctors and nearly 600 office managers, assistants and hygienists from across all specialties learned how to power the performance of their practices.

The Summit kicked off on a high note with keynote speaker New York Times Bestselling Author Ben Nemtin, who put attendees in the right mindset to make the impossible, possible. Afterwards, the crowd dispersed to attend more than 50 courses of their choice that were offered over the two days of learning. The sessions were led by rock star trainers, industry leaders and Carestream Dental designers and developers, giving attendees backstage access to everything from the latest practice trends to tips and tricks for getting the most out of their practice management software.

The setlist of popular educational topics included implant guided surgery, restorative optimization with a mill, airway management and mastering 3D printing. A new Dental Service Organization (DSO) track also covered topics relevant to the growing number of group practices.

Nashville’s culture and musical vibes infiltrated the entire Summit, from the local artists who serenaded attendees on the first day during breaks and meals to the social event at the world-famous Wildhorse Saloon. Attendees lined up to line dance at Friday night’s private party off of Honky Tonk Row, and explored the brightly lit streets of NashVegas or enjoyed the festive holiday decorations at the beautiful Gaylord Orpryland Resort Saturday night.
