Implementation of Revised GST Rates

Subject: Implementation of revised GST rates (proposed to be effective from 22 September 2025)

We, Carestream Dental India Private Limited take this opportunity to thank you and your team for the continued association and for contributing to the overall growth of our business.

As you would be aware, recent GST Council meeting held under the chairpersonship of Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, marked a significant milestone in India’s tax reform journey. These changes, part of the "Next-Generation GST Reforms," simplify taxation and aim to make products more affordable and stand out as a transformative step.  

To summarise, the change in GST rate for our products are provided in Annexure attached.

Also, till 21 September 2025 midnight - We will continue to invoice these products at the existing GST rates as applicable.

With effect from 22 September 2025 - We will begin Invoicing these products at Revised GST rate.

Operational Continuity and Purchase Guidance

We encourage you to maintain your regular purchase cycles and manage inventory levels prudently to support an uninterrupted supply chain. This will help in avoiding any market disruptions and ensure consistent availability of products to end consumers.

To ensure smooth transition and compliance, we request your support on the following:

• Update your ERP/accounting systems to reflect the revised GST rates from 22 September 2025, to ensure accurate invoicing and reporting.
• Ensure that all tax invoices, e-invoices etc made on or after 22 September 2025 reflect the applicable revised rates.
• For goods in transit during the rate change, the GST rate is determined by the "time of supply" rules. If a tax invoice was issued before 22 September 2025 at the existing rate, that rate applies, and the existing e-way bill remains valid. Please accept delivery of such goods without requiring a revised tax invoice with the new GST rates.
