Florian Schober leads Carestream Dental’s clinical software portfolio, Swissmeda. In this role, he is responsible for leading strategy, operations and customer service. His responsibility extends to managing the product line portfolio, including introducing new clinical software solutions. Swissmeda has been part of Carestream Dental’s portfolio since 2019 and Schober has been a member of Carestream Dental’s executive management team since April 2022.

As the founder of Swissmeda AG in Switzerland, Schober has more than 25 years of experience in software and consulting, with a focus on solutions that improve dental treatment, use and patient outcomes. In addition to serving as president of Swissmeda, Schober serves as a member of the Board of Digital Dental Life (Dental Campus) and is associated with the Clinic for Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Zurich.

Schober holds master’s degrees from the University of Berlin, University St. Gallen and LUISS Rome in mechanical engineering and business, as well as in management.
