ATLANTA—Orthodontists and staff can learn how to better use their practice management software during two half-day CS OrthoTrac sessions held at OrthoVOICE® in Las Vegas, N.V. The educational sessions will not only provide an overview of the longest running practice management software for orthodontists, but also highlight new features and modules and cover how to improve clinical use through integration with imaging software.
“We wanted to give orthodontic professionals a convenient, hands-on way to discover new features of CS OrthoTrac,” Susan Whitt, senior product manager, CS OrthoTrac, Carestream Dental, said. “Since OrthoVOICE is the place to learn about new practice developments and innovations, it made sense to host the sessions as part of the education line-up.”
The two sessions take place Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
“Exercise the Power of CS OrthoTrac,” 8:00-11:30 a.m., will help attendees get the most of out of the Zuelke Financial Module, marketing, patient tracking and financial reports to enhance their financial success. Other topics include customizing letters and the Charting module; available shortcuts; how to configure preferences in CS OrthoTrac and CS Imaging software; and using additional eServices, including eForms and online statements, to increase practice efficiency.
“Using Carestream Dental Technology to Better Your Practice,” 1:00-4:30 p.m., is for doctors and team members interested in advancing their clinical use of CS OrthoTrac by using CS Imaging software. During this lecture, attendees will learn how to import images to create case presentations and how to incorporate images into documents and letters and marketing ideas. Additionally, using the Ortho Essentials hygiene module and digital photos to improve patient hygiene will be reviewed. An overview of CS Orthodontic Imaging software, cephalometric tracing and integrating CS OrthoTrac with 3D images—CS 3500 intraoral scanner digital impressions and cone beam computed tomography scans—will also be discussed
"One of the biggest things that sets OrthoVOICE apart is its format,” Clarke Stevens, D.D.S, founder of OrthoVOICE, said. “We have two full days of dynamic speakers for the doctor and team and that's awesome, but we have opened up Thursday to companies, consultants and study groups to host mini meetings. This has become a cool new part of the OrthoVOICE experience, one more reason that OrthoVOICE is not your ordinary meeting."
