Scans from CS 3600 Intraoral Scanner Certified for Use with Ortho Insight 3D® Software

Carestream Dental is pleased to announce that scans captured by the CS 3600 intraoral scanner are now certified by Motion View, LLC for use with Ortho Insight 3D® software in treatment planning and appliance fabrication.

The high-speed, continuous scanning of the CS 3600 allows for the seamless capture of dual arches for orthodontic applications.  An Intelligent Matching System enables users to fill in any missing information in the data set, and the CS 3600’s three interchangeable tips—normal, side-oriented and posterior—make scanning in hard-to-reach places easier. After scanning, clinicians can then choose to import the STL files of the digital impression to Ortho Insight 3D for making 3D digital study models, model analyses, aligner setups, treatment plans for precision bracket placement and transfer trays.
