Carestream Dental has partnered with exocad, an OEM dental CAD/CAM software solutions provider, to offer systems integration with the CS Solutions product portfolio. Exocad design software is compatible with Carestream Dental’s CS 3500 intraoral scanner, which allows practitioners to easily acquire true color, 2D and 3D images.

Carestream Dental’s latest release of Logicon Caries Detector 5.1 further automates the detection process and produces improved displays of caries sites, making exams and diagnoses even more efficient than in the past.

Carestream Dental announced today a collaboration with The Pankey Institute, a distinguished provider of advanced continuing education for dental professionals. The collaboration involves the placement of Carestream Dental’s CS 9300, an all-in-one extraoral imaging system that supports a wide range of clinical applications for different oral health specialties, at The Pankey Institute located in Key Biscayne, Fla.

Carestream Dental and VITA have once again partnered to support their respective restoration offerings. Carestream Dental’s CS 3000 milling machine has earned certification from VITA to work with the company’s VITA ENAMIC® hybrid dental ceramic, which combines the benefits of dental ceramics with those of composite materials.
