An airplane touches down on a dirt landing strip in San Quintín, Baja California, carrying volunteer doctors and dental equipment. The volunteers of Mission Flight begin to unload supplies for transportation to the dental clinic and dormitory that they had helped build a few years earlier. It’s just the beginning; over the course of the next three days, Drs. James Marc Haney and Mike Yung will provide care for 100 local patients at no cost.

Before the sun rose one Saturday in March 2018, dedicated Carestream Dental employees, friends, family members—and even a few dogs—gathered in a quiet park in midtown Atlanta, Ga. In the chilly morning air, they stretched, twisted and touched their toes, preparing for the task ahead of them.  Some would run, some would walk, one even brought their scooter, but all were working towards the same cause: To raise funds to provide dental care to the developmentally disabled.
