The CS 8100SC* scanning cephalometric imaging system, first introduced at CDA South, is built on the award-winning technology of the CS 8100 panoramic system and allows practitioners to add digital cephalometric imaging to their practice for more diagnostic capabilities.

Prominent orthodontist, Thomas Pitts, D.D.S, M.S.D., has chosen Carestream Dental technology to power the new Ortho Country Learning Center in McMinnville, Ore. The Learning Center, which is located at Ortho Classic’s headquarters, offers lectures and clinical discussions; treatment planning; hands-on clinical procedures; and live patient sessions. Each course is structured to help the orthodontist become a more efficient clinical doctor.

The CS Adapt module is a new, intuitive user interface for Carestream Dental’s RVG 6200 sensor that allows practitioners to select from an unprecedented number of pre-set image enhancement filters according to their visual preference in order to improve diagnostic efficiency.

A 56-year-old female presented for a full comprehensive exam, with no chief complaints. A full review of her medical history revealed no medical issues and no known drug allergies. Her dental history included a failed endodontic treated tooth #29 thirty years ago. The endodontic file separated in the canal and a crown was placed; within a month, however, the tooth was infected again.
